The electric vehicle with its few moving parts and low maintenance requirements is an ideal choice for cost-conscious fleet managers and consumers.
Fleet managers can add to their fleet with new electric vehicles and/or convert exisitng vehicles form fossil fuel drives.
An example of an available new, electric vehicle is the light-weigth, electric truck shown on the left.
Its ideal for corporate campuses, warehouses, universities, factories, municipal operations and around the ranch or farm. Classified as an NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicle) this truck is speed-limited by its controller to travel at speeds up to 25 mph in order to achieve maximum range and still carry a 1600 lb. load.

The "eBox" is a coverted Scion and was demonstrated in Aug. 2006 in Santa Monica by AC Propulsion.
The eBox has a 140-180 mile range on a Lithium Ion battery pack, accelerates 0-60mph in under 7 seconds, has an electronically limited top speed of 90mph, and is propelled by a 120kW AC Propulsion drivetrain.
The power steering and air conditioning are fully functional. The Scion air conditioning system was left completely intact and the compressor is now driven by an accessory electric motor selected by AC. Imagine being able to keep the interior of a car cool on minimal power without having to run a noisy and polluting ICE (Internal Combustion Engine).
